One Year Can Make a Difference: The Impact of School Disruptions on Children’s Vision

When schools first closed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was hard to predict the impact of at-home, virtual learning on our children’s education. Now, one year from those first lockdowns, we are gaining preliminary insight into how this year of digital learning has broadly affected children and specifically impacted their visual health. This is particularly important since healthy vision is linked to school achievement.
